Deploying a large Video Analytics system on existing cameras in the Middle East's first 5-Star Airports and ensuring a high detection rate and low false alarm rate.
The system was initially installed in 2013 on 24 thermal cameras around the perimeter. Following the success of the first phase, the system was extended in 2017 to cover a further 600+ visual cameras inside the terminal.
Ipsotek's system was successfully deployed and is used to improve passenger safety and optimise operations at one of the busiest airports in the Middle East which transits approximately 35 million passengers per year.
